UK: HRA Issues New Final Report Form

On September 15, 2021, the Health Research Authority (HRA) implemented changes to final study reporting requirements, which will apply to all UK studies that require ethics approval and have not yet submitted a final report. The new final report form must be completed within 12 months of the declared end of a study. This new reporting requirement, which includes submitting a lay summary of results, is part of the UK’s Make It Public research transparency strategy. See here for more details.
