The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) profile in ClinRegs has been reviewed and updated with legislation related to the Congolese Pharmaceutical Regulatory Authority (Autorité Congolaise de Réglementation Pharmaceutique (ACOREP)).

As of March 5, 2020, ACOREP has been in the process of assuming the responsibilities of the Directorate of Pharmacy and Medicine (Direction de la Pharmacie et du Médicament (DPM)) including regulating clinical trials and authorizing and controlling drug imports and exports in the DRC. Per a subject matter expert, the transition from DPM to ACOREP is still in process as of this update.

Please note that as of August 25, 2021, the ClinRegs team has been unable to access the ACOREP website. The ClinRegs team is monitoring the situation and will update the DRC profile as needed.
