Peru Profile Updated in ClinRegs

The Peru profile in ClinRegs has been updated with the following information:

  • Ministerial Resolution No. 233-2020, which requires all ethics committees that conduct human health research to register with the National Institute of Health (Instituto Nacional de Salud (INS)). The regulation also adopts international standards on bioethics into the national regulatory framework.   • Ministerial Resolution No. 686-2020, which approves a technical health standard for the research and development of vaccines against infectious diseases. (See Scope of Assessment and Scope of Review)

  • National Code of Scientific Integrity, which establishes national rules of scientific conduct and promotes the adoption of good practices and integrity in scientific research and technological developments/innovations. (See Scope of Review)
